I did a lot of research before deciding on this particular disc/cassette/radio player & I’m glad I did. This is a real bargain for the money. It not only does everything, it has a remote to enable you to do it. I take it everywhere when it’s on batteries. AND I’ve rediscovered cassettes! Unlike CDs, you can stop & rewind to the very spot you missed. Can’t do that with CDs. The main reason I bought it was to listen to recorded books…disc & cassette. Love it, love it, love it! So glad I had the opportunity to write a review.

I like the fact that it plays both CD and cassette. I also like the remote control. The only surprise was it was bigger than I expected. But I got used to the idea after a very short time. I found it to have good sound too.

The radio is great. I needed one for tape playing for some of our homeschooling items and this fit the bill. The remote is just a major bonus since now I don’t have to get up and down from the table while we’re working…I can just change it from where ever I am. I hope it lasts.

I LIKE THE RADIO, EASY SETUP OF PROGRAMS AND REMOTE APPLICATIONS; THE ONLY REASON I GAVE A 4 STARS INSTEAD OF 5, WAS BECAUSE THERE IS NOT A LIGHT INDICATOR SHOWING YOU THE RADIO IS ON. I LISTEN TO THE RADIO AT NIGHT WITH A WIRELESS HEADPHONE AND SOMETIMES I TURN OFF THE HEADPHONE AND FORGET TO TURN OFF THE RADIO, IF IT HAD A LIGHT POWER INDICATOR I WOULD HAVE GAVE IT A PERFECT 5 STARS.

I purchased this for my 90 year old mother for books on tape and music CDs. She finds it very easy to use and the sound quality is also very good.
