‘Sony Ericsson’ the name arouse some kind of feelings in you. You know that this brand offers everything keeping in mid customer needs and their capabilities. They have introduced Walkman series of phones with models like W800i’s, W850i and others. These are high end phones and are very expensive. Crowds like students and other low profile people may not want them for its costs. Hence Sony came up with another model for them in the Walkman series called Sony Ericsson W300i. This handset offers all the basics things and has incorporated attributes so that its users too can enjoy the taste of Walkman phones.

Its a little wonderful phone with clamshell design. This compact and lightweight phone has features which won’t enable you to bring down the stars but can do so much for you that you won’t expect much within this price bracket. First of all these phone can roam with you around the globe due to its GSM quad band technology. Sony has done a commendable job with this model. The phonebook has good capacity for contacts and you have options for photo call. It can record 30 missed, received, dialed calls record. The phone has an internal 20MB shared memory and is equipped with EDGE, HSCSD. There is Bluetooth technology but no WLAN. There is infra red port and USB port for connectivity to other devices. You can browse with WAP 2.0/xHTMl browser and listen live radio entertianment with the inbuilt FM radio with RDS. The best part of the phone is its talktime option with 9 hours.

With all these strengths we can see that the phone is quite user friendly. But Sony could have treated it a little better in areas of camera and other attributes to make it a more classy phone.
