Sony Ericsson W580i – Wow, I Love That!

The all new Sony Ericsson W580i is another extension to Sony Ericsson’s popular Walkman Series. The handset is compact and comes with an easy to open slider mechanism which allows the user to view the large colour screen in both its slide open and slide closed position. The casing has a small tilt at the bottom of the handset which makes opening and handling of the phone easy for the users. Available in two exciting colour combinations, Sony Ericsson W580i Grey and Sony Ericsson W580i White, the mobile phone offers supremacy both in terms of features as well as looks.

The Sony Ericsson W580i is equipped with a 262k colour TFT screen with a resolution of 240 x 320 pixels. With an impressive 2 megapixel camera with 4 x digital zoom, it’s really nice to capture images and videos on the move. Imaging quality is simply mind blowing! Features like video streaming and picture blogging make the Sony Ericsson W580i even more exciting and intuitive.

The highlight of the phone is its dedicated walkman music player that is capable of producing solid sound effect. Walkman features like TrackID, PlayNow, Bluetooth Stereo (A2DP) are available in the phone. The phone also features an FM radio with RDS. This Sony Ericsson mobile phone works on Quad Band technology and features multiple connectivity options like EDGE, USB, Bluetooth, Fast Port, GPRS, Modem and PC Synchronisation. The collaboration of Sony and Ericsson has endowed us with so much possibilities that all of us are enjoying the best in technology in the most spectacular manner possible. After a huge success with its earlier Walkman Series mobile phones like W550i, W700i, W800i, the company has taken a bold step by launching some more powerful Walkman phones like W580i, W880i etc. The company has launched two more models in the series, the Sony Ericsson W960i and W910i Walkman phones.
