The Sony Ericsson W200i is one of the Walkman® mobile phone series which are focused on providing the user with the ultimate music experience from the mobile handset. The W200i comes in pulse white and rhythm black–two classy colours. The handset is designed for usability and arrives with a large display screen with a 128 by 160 pixel screen resolution. To enhance the music experience which is received from the W200i, a set of top-quality stereo earphones, a 128 MB Micro™ M2™ memory card, and software which lets you copy music from CDs is included with the handset. The Sony Ericsson W200i Walkman® music phone has 27 MB of on board memory and an expandle memory card which comes with the kit.

The lightweight handset measures 18 mm by 44 mm by 101 mm and weighs a comfortable 85 grams. The Sony Ericsson W200i is part of the W range of Walkman phones which are all focused on presentation of the best possible music experience on your mobile phone.

The prime component of this amazing mobile phone is the Walkman media player. The user can choose recorded or streamed video footage or play their favourite music tracks on the built in media player. The Sony Ericsson W200i is compatible with all the different music and video formats which are popular today, including a built in FM radio with RDS. You can view screen text information about the piece provided by the FM station. The Mega Bass™ feature means the bass sound can be enhanced to match the style of music preferred by the user.

Polyphonic ringtones , MP3 ringtones and AAC ringtones are all supported and the user has access to three click downloads for installation of the ringtones on the W200i.

Messaging services include email, multimedia picture messaging and text message. Another plus is that the text message service will allow long SMS input. This means the user can prepare and transmit a message up to 9600 characters in length. Multimedia messaging lets the user transmit and receive messages with photos, video, text and sound in one message which is simple to create. The multimedia messages can be transmitted to or from any email address or compatible moble phone.
